Breathing Ⅰ 

This group of work is inspired by an experience with a breathing “disorder”. Fan created a series of  non-existing landscape images from the infinite light from mirrors through camera-less photography with the frequency of the “breath of the machine”. Through low-speed scan, keeping the object steadily in hand, holding the breath, and feeling the body, she records the light, water, mirrors, and plants, by which the multiple reflections in the infinite mirrors form the slice of "Shanshui", exploring the temporality and emptiness of the light.
