This group of works experiments with chemigram and photography，using the dead roots of plants drawing with the chemicals on light-sensitive photo paper, seeking connections between dreams and memories, alienation and belonging. Through the interaction of the chemicals, the fragments are exposed to light in both controlled and uncontrolled ways, depicting the lost habitat through the movement of the body and the reflection on the photographic paper, the physicality of painting and photography are in dialogue in a ritual of “rebirth”.
